Fish Cutlets
1.Fish-1/2 kg
Vinegar-1 tbsp
Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
In a cheenachatti /pan put all the above ingredients & add 1/4 cup water & cover & cook till done.Off the stove with little water remaining.
Once cooled, debone & keep aside.
2.potato-2 medium
Cut into four & pressure cook with 1/4 cup water for a whistle or two.Once cooled,mash & keep aside.
3.onion-2
Ginger-1" piece
Green chillies-5-6
Curry leaves-2 sprigs
Chop all the above ingredients & Saute in a tbsp oil.
4.turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
Add to the above & saute.
4.carrot-1
Cabbage-2 leaves
Chop in a chopper & add to the above with little salt & cook till done.
Now add the set aside deboned fish & cook till water dries up.Adjust seasonings.
Once cooled add the mashed potatoes set aside & mix well.
Make into round or any shapes of your choice.
5.egg-1
Water-2 tbsp
Bread crumbs as reqd.
Beat the egg with water lightly.Dip the cutlets into egg wash & coat with bread crumbs.Deep fry in hot oil till browned. .
