Robusta /Chiquita Banana Halwa 🍌
1.Robusta Banana-450 gm
Grind the ripe banana into a smooth paste without adding any water.Remove to a nonstick pan.
2.Sugar-175-220 gm
Wheat flour/Maida-1 1/2 tbsps
Cardamom-3-4
Cashews-10
Ghee-3 tbsps
Add 2-3 tbsps of water to the flour and dissolve it without any lumps.Add this along with a tbsp of ghee to the banana paste and mix in.
Place this on stove and cook it on medium heat till all the water dries.Add the sugar and another tbsp of ghee and continue to cook,until the mixture thickens and comes together.
Add in the broken cashews and crushed cardamom and stir in.Continue to cook until the mixture becomes a mass and do not stick to the pan.Pour this into a greased pan or plate.I sprinkled some white sesame seeds to the greased plate and over the Halwa and smoothened the top with the back of a greased spoon.
Let this cool for 2-3 hours and then cut into small pieces.Robusta
Banana Halwa is ready.
Note:u can replace the sugar with the same quantity of Jaggery if you want.
