Kappa Thoran
1.Cooked kappa-2 cups
Mustard seeds-1/2 tsp
Onion-1
Garlic-2
Curry leaves-a sprig
Coconut oil-1 tbsp Chilli powder-3/4-1 tsp
Coconut grated-1/2 cup
Heat oil, splutter the mustard seeds. Add chopped onions, garlic & curry leaves and sauté.Once glossy add the Chilli powder and sauté.Add 2 tbsps of water and cook till the raw smell vanishes.Add the grated coconut & cooked kappa and salt to taste.Cover with lid and cook on low heat for a few minutes. Remove the lid cook till all the water dries up.Kappa Thoran is ready.
