Avalosunda

1.Sugar-1 cup

Lemon-1 1/2

Water-1/4 cup

Cardamom-4-5(crushed)

In a cheenachatti add sugar,water & juice of 1 1/2 lemon & heat.

When the sugar dissolves completely & after a while become one string consistency ,add the cardamom crushed and off the stove.let this cool for 5 minutes.

2.Avalosupodi-2 1/2 cup

Once the sugar syrup is cooled,it becomes little thick syrup.(not as loose as it was when you off the stove once it turned one string consistency .)

Now add the avalosupodi 1/2 cup at a time to the sugar syrup & mix in.U might need to add 2 cups of the avalosupodi to the sugar syrup to get the right mixture (as shown in the picture) to get to make the undaas(balls).

Now make balls of medium size and roll in the remaining 1/2 cup of avalosupodi to make it smooth.

With this I got 24 avalosundaas.

Note-to know whether ur sugar syrup has reached one string consistency there r two ways.

1.u touch a little of the syrup with one finger & press this between 2 fingers & release one from the other.then u can see a string formed between the fingers.then it's one string consistent stage.

2.take a bowl with 1/2 cup normal water.pour a small spoon of the sugar mixture to this.if u can make a soft ball with the sugar syrup,then it's one string consistent.
