Prawns Cutlets
Prawns 🍤 Cutlets (yields 28-35 cutlets)
1.Prawns-1/2 kg
Devein the prawns and chop/grind in a chopper/mixie and set aside.
2.potato-2 medium
Cut into four & pressure cook with 1/4 cup water for a whistle or two.Once cooled,mash & keep aside.
3.onion-2
Garlic-4-5 big Chinese ones
Ginger-1" piece
Green chillies-5-6
Curry leaves-2 sprigs
Chop all the above ingredients & Saute in a tbsp oil.
4.turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Pepper powder-1 tsp(adjust to your spice levels)
Vinegar-1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Add to the turmeric & pepper powder and saute.Now add the set aside chopped prawns ,vinegar and salt and cover and cook for 3-4 minutes or till it’s cooked.
4.carrot-1 big
Garam Masala-1 tsp
Pepper powder-1 tsp
Chop the carrot in a chopper & add to the above & cook till water dries up.Add the Garam masala and pepper powder.Adjust salt.
Once cooled add the set aside mashed potatoes & mix well.Adjust seasonings.
Make into round or any shapes of your choice.
5.egg-1
Water-2 tbsp
Bread crumbs as reqd.
Beat the egg with water lightly.Dip the cutlets into egg wash & coat with bread crumbs.Deep fry in hot oil till browned. .
