Pasta in Creamy Peri Peri Sauce

1.Pasta/Spaghetti-400 gm

Sweet Corn-1 cup(I took frozen one)

Cook the pasta in boiling salted water till done.While the pasta is almost done add some frozen corns and drain the pasta mixture.show this under running water so that the pasta doesn't stick together.

For the Creamy Sauce

2.Garlic-4-5 big

Onion-1 big

Oil/Butter-3-4 tbsps

Chilli flakes-1 tbsp

Chilli powder-1 tsp

Oregano-1 tbsp

Peri Peri Masala-2 tbsps

Pepper powder-1 tsp

All purpose flour -4 tbsp

Milk-3 1/2 cups

Grated Mozzarella-1/2-3/4 cup

Cheddar Cheese-2 slices

Salt to taste

Tomato Ketchup-2 tbsps (optional)

Coriander leaves-1/4-1/2 cup

Meanwhile heat the oil/butter and saute the garlics and onion chopped.Add the chilli flakes,chilli powder,peri peri masala,and pepper powders and sauté.Now add the flour and saute on low heat for a minute.Now add 1 cup of milk to this and mix in without lumps.When this starts to thicken add the remaining 2 1/2 cups milk and salt to taste.Once this boils,add the oregano,tomato ketchup & when this starts to thicken add the cheese and fresh coriander chopped & mix in.(Add some boiling water if the mixture has thickened too much ). This is the Peri Peri Sauce.Stir in the set aside pasta and veggies and serve hot.I served it with some chicken nuggets fried .

Note:I didn’t add the tomato ketchup as my kids didn’t want the tomato ketchup flavor.
