Oats Noolappams/String Hoppers Recipe(Serves-4)
1.Oats Flour-1 cup
Rice Flour-1 cup
salt to taste
coconut oil-1tbsp
Boiling water as required
In a big steel bowl put both the flours,salt & oil.Add enough hot water to make a dough.The dough should make a large ball.Now put some dough into the string hopper maker & press it onto
banana leaves or greased idli thattu.Now steam this in an appachambu or steamer.Once
steamed,remove and repeat with the remaining dough till all the dough is used up.Your Oats Noolappams/String Hoppers
are ready to serve with egg curry or vegetable stew.
