Mysore Pak
1.Sugar-2 cups
Water-1/2 cup
In a vessel boil this till the sugar has dissolved.
2.Besan/Channa/Gram Flour-1 cup
In a non stick pan roast the flour in medium heat till a nice
smell comes.Turn off the heat &add 50 gms softened butter
to this. Pour the sugar mixture to this.
Turn on the stove & place the pan with the mixture at medium
heat.Keep on stirring adding ghee/butter[100 gms],till the mixture leaves the sides . Pour the mixture to a greased plate.After 10 minutes line with a knife horizontally & vertically sothat u get
small square shapes.After 1/2 to 1hr u can cut through the lines.
NB-If u don't stop at correct time the mixture will crumble &
u will end up with Mysore pak crumbles
