Poori Masala
For the Potato masala
1.poratoes-3 medium
Remove skin and chop into small pieces.Put them in a bowl of water to avoid discoloration.
2.Onion-2 small
Garlic-3-4
Green chillies-2
Curry leaves-1 sprig
Mustard seed-1 tsp
Oil-2 tbsps
In a kadai heat oil & splutter the mustard. Add the chopped onions,garlic ,curry leaves and green chillies to it and saute till it starts to brown.
3.turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Chilli powder-3/4 tsp
Corriander powder-3/4 tsp
Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
Garamasala-1/4 tsp
Tomato-1
Salt to taste
Add all the masalas and saute for a minute or two at medium heat. Add the chopped tomato and saute.
Now add the chopped potatoes ,salt to taste and 1/4 cup water and cover and cook in medium heat until potatoes are well cooked.Check for water often until potatoes are done.remove lid and cook till all water dries up.Decorate with corriander leaves & serve with poori.
