Lady Finger /Savoiardi Biscuits

Homemade LadyFingers (Savoiardi )Biscuits getting ready

1.Eggs-2

Separate the yolk and whites of the eggs.

2.Sugar-3 tbsps (45 gm)

Salt-1/4 pinch

Beat the egg whites,sugar and salt till stiff peaks.

3.Sugar-1 tbsp(15 gm)

vanilla essence-1/2 tsp

Beat the egg yolks with sugar and vanilla till light and creamy .

4.Cake flour-65 gm

Baking powder-1/8 tsp

Fold in the egg whites and the flour mixture in 3 batches to the egg yolks mixture gently till traces of flour isn’t visible.

Pour this mixture into a piping bag or freezer bags and cut the edges and pipe into 2” long logs into a parchment lined baking tray and sprinkle some sugar powder over the biscuits.Preheat the oven at 190 C and reduce the temperature to 180 C and bake for 13 minutes or until lightly browned.
