Jeera Rice

Jeera Rice

1.Basmati Rice-1 1/2 cup

Ghee/Olive oil-1 tbsp

Cumin jeera-2 tsp

Salt-1/2-3/4 tsp

Soak the rice for 30 minutes.

Heat ghee/oil in a pressure cooker .Add the cumin Jeera and let it splutter.

Now add the drained rice to it and sauté for a minute.

2.Water-2 1/4 cups

Coriander leaves-1/4 cup

Add in the water and salt and pressure cook for a whistle.

Open the cooker once it’s cooled.Fluff it with a fork.Add in the chopped coriander leaves and stir in.Jeera Rice is ready .
