Date Rolls [Yields 32 pieces]

1.Butter-50 gm

In a pan melt butter.Add 1/2 cup sugar to this.Add 2 tbsp water to dissolve the sugar.When it is dissolved completely, add chopped

2.Dates-300 gm

water-3 tbsp

When the dates absorbs aii the water & become sticky turn off the heat & add

3.marie biscuts-125 gm[roughly broken chunks]

to this & fold in.Let it cool.

In a butter paper put the above & roll it into a log.[I made 2 medium logs with this].tie the edges as we tie sweets.Keep in refrigerator for 2 hrs.Remove the butter paper & cut the roll into discs.Date Rolls is ready.I got 30-32 round pieces from this.
