Chicken Roast Recipe

1.chicken-1 1/4 kg

Cut into small pieces.

2.onions-3

Ginger-1” piece

Garlic-5 ( Chinese)

Curry leaves-1 sprig

Slice the onions & Saute in 2 tbsp oil.When its gloss add crushed ginger,garlic and curry leaves & Saute.

3.Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp

Chilli powder-2 1/2 tsp

Corriander powder-1 1/2 tsp

Tomatoes-2

Once the onions starts to brown,add the masalas & Saute for a minute or two.now add the chopped tomatoes & Saute. Add 1/4 cup water to this & cook till oil separates. Now add the chicken pieces & Saute for 2 minutes sothat the juices are sealed in it.

4.salt to taste

Vinegar-1 1/2 tsp

Pepper powder-1 tsp

Garamasala powder-1 tsp

Add salt and vinegar to the above & cover & cook the chicken in medium heat for 10 minutes.

Half way through add the pepper & garamasalas & continue cooking till done.

Remove the lid . Now in a nonstick frying pan add some oil and shallow fry the cooked chicken pieces till light brown.meanwhile continue cooking the gravy till almost all water dries.once all the pieces are fried,place them in the gravy & adjust seasonings & cook till the chicken pieces are well coated with it. Add chopped Corriander leaves & turn off stove.
