Chicken Malai Boti
It’s a popular dish from the Pakistani cuisine and as the name suggests,malai/cream is the main ingredient in its preparation and gives the dish it’s creamy texture
Chicken Malai Boti Recipe
1.Chicken boneless-450 gm
Salt-1/2 tsp
Pepper powder-1/4 tsp
Lime juice-1 tbsp
Cut the chicken into medium pieces and pat dry with tissues.Marinate the chicken pieces with all the above ingredients for 15 minutes.
2.Cumin seeds-3/4 tsp
Whole Pepper -3/4 tsp
Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
Green chilies-4
Coriander leaves-1/8 cup
Coriander Powder-1 tsp
Almond-3
Cashews-3
Pistachios-6
Fresh Cream -3 tbsps
Salt-3/4 tsp
Vegetable Oil-1 1/2 tbsps
Grind all the above ingredients together except oil and make a smooth paste.Mix in oil and marinate the chicken pieces with this for 3-4 hours.
Meanwhile soak the bamboo skewers in water for 15 minutes.
Line a baking tray with aluminum foil.
Brush it with oil.Skewer the marinated chicken pieces and place them so that the skewer ends Rest on the sides of the tray.Bake this in a preheated oven at 230 C for 30 minutes turning the skewers every 10 minutes for even browning.Once done Serve with Rotti and coriander Chutney.
Coriander Chutney recipe
1.Coriander leaves and Mint leaves -1/2 cup
Garlic-1
Green chilies-2
Shallots-2
Yoghurt-4-5 tbsps
Cumin-a pinch
Salt to taste
