Cauliflower Popcorn

Cauliflower Popcorn 🍿

1.Cauliflower-1(medium)

Broken into medium florets.

Soak the florets in turmeric (1 tsp)water & salt(2-3 tsp) for 15-30 minutes.drain.

2.ginger- garlic paste-1 tbsp

Thai chilli sauce-2-3 tbsp

Worcestershire sauce-1tbsp

Pepper powder-1 1/2 tsp

Salt as reqd (sauces have salt content so check before adding)

Marinate the florets with all the above ingredients for atleast 1/2 an hour.

3.egg-1

Cornflour-3 tbsp

All purpose flour-4-5 tbsp

Break an egg into the marinated florets.add the cornflour & mix it well to coat.add the flour 1 tbsp at a time till the florets are coated & no juices left.

4.Panko Breadcrumbs-1 cup

Heat oil in a kadai.Put the bread crumbs in a plate.Dip the dough coated cauliflowers in it and fry till golden and crispy.drain on tissues.Cauliflower Popcorn is ready to serve with some mayonnaise or sauce of your choice.

Note:I just blanched the cauliflower florets by adding it to salted boiling water and then marinated them.
