Carrot & Peas Chilly Garlic Rice 🍚 🧄
1.Basmati Rice-1 cup
Clean and soak the rice in water for 30 minutes and drain .Set this aside .
2.Garlic-5-6 big(Chinese ones)
Green Chillies-5-6
Carrot -1 medium
Green Peas-1/2 cup
Salt to taste
Coconut milk-1 cup.
Water-1 cup
Ghee/Oil-1 1/2 tbsps
Heat oil and sauté the chopped garlic and green chillies till lightly browned and nice aroma comes.
Now add the set aside rice and fry for 2 minutes.Add the coconut milk,water ,carrot,peasand salt and cover with a lid and cook till this comes to boil.Turn the flame to low and cook till all the water is absorbed and the rice is cooked through.Carrot & Peas Chilly Garlic Rice is ready.Serve with raita and pickles.
