Badam Halwa



Badam halwa Recipe

Badam-1/2 cup heaped

Soaked in hot water for 1/2 an hour & skin removed.Grind this .Add little milk[4-5 tbsp] & make a paste.[no need to grind thoroughly]

sugar-3/4 cup

water-1/2 cup

Boil this together in a non-stick kadai.When sugar dissolves add badam paste without lumps.

Add milk-1/2 cup[soaked with 3 to 4 strands of saffron to this]

ghee-3 tbsp

Add ghee in intervals.When all the ghee is absorbed & the mixture leaves the sides of the kadai, the halwa is ready.Pour this into a small steel vessel & allow it to cool.the halwa thickens when cooled.
