Veggie Oats Upmav
1.Rolled Oats-1 1/2 cup
Rava-2 tbsps
Dry roast Oats till nice aroma comes .Add the Rava and fry for a minute.If you are using roasted rava,u can skip it.
2.Carrot-1
Beans-7-8
Capsicum-1/2
Green Peas-2 -3 tbsps
I used frozen peas.Chop all the veggies and set aside.
3.Oil-1 tbsp
Mustard seeds-1 tsp
Cumin-1/2 tsp
Urad Dal-1 tbsp
Dry Red Chilly-2
Heat oil and splutter the mustard,then the cumin urad Dal and dry red chillies.
4.Onion-1 big
Ginger-1/2” piece
Green chillies 5-6(adjust according to your spice levels)
Curry leaves-2 sprigs
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Salt -3/4 tsp
Water-1 3/4 cups
Now add the above ingredients chopped and sauté .Add in the turmeric and salt.Now add all the veggies and sauté for a minute.Add in the water and cover and cook till all the veggies are cooked.
Now add the roasted Oats and Rava and mix well.Once mixed well,cover and cook on low heat until oats gets cooked through.
5.Coconut grated-3-4 tbsps
Coriander leaves-few
Lime juice-1 tbsp
Add in all the above ingredients and adjust salt.Veggie Oats Upmav is ready.
