Malai Chicken Tikka Kathi Rolls for Dinner

For Malai Murgh/Chicken Tikka

1.Boneless Chicken -250 gm

Cut the Boneless chicken into bite size pieces

2.Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp

Cheddar cheese-1 tbsp (optional)

Greek/thick yogurt-2 tbsp

Thick Cream-2 tbsp

Pepper powder-1/2 tsp

Chilli flakes-1 tbsp

Garam masala-1/2 tsp

Oil-1 tbsp

Salt to taste

Marinate the chicken pieces with all the above ingredients for 4-6 hours or overnight.

Soak the bamboo skewers in water for an hour.Thread the marinated chicken pieces in the skewers along with some capsicum and onions cut into squares (coated with the marinades)and grill it on the griller till done.Today I used my electric grill to grill it.

U can bake this by placing them on a tray in a preheated oven at 180 C for 25-30 minutes or in an Airfyer for 20 minutes or till golden.

Or cook them on stove top by placing them on a greased Tava on high heat to get the brown grill marks on all sides and then reducing the heat to low and cover and cook till the chicken pieces are cooked through.

Malai Chicken Tikka is ready .

3.For the Kathi Rolls

Wheat flour-1 cup

All purpose flour-1/2 cup

Salt to taste

Make a dough by adding enough warm water.Set this aside for 15-20 minutes.Divide into 6-7 balls and roll it to make Chappathis.Cook this.

4.French Fries-as required

Cabbage-1/2 cup

Carrot-1/2

Onion-1

Parsley leaves-few

Mayonnaise-1/4 cup

Mustard sauce-1 tsp

Thai Chilli Sauce-1-2 tbsps

Ranch Sauce-1 tbsp

Salt to taste

Pepper-optional

Chop the cabbage and parsley leaves Grate the carrot.Slice the onions.

In a bowl mix together the veggies and the remaining ingredients except French fries and adjust salt.if you want it spicy add 1/4 tsp pepper/chilli powder .

Assembling the Kathi Rolls.

Place some veggie mixture onto the Chappathi and then some French fries,malai chicken Tikka pieces and top with cheese slice and roll it.Toast it on a sandwich maker/griller till crispy.Malai Chicken Tikka Kathi Rolls is ready.
