Texas Sheet Cake
1.unsalted Butter-200 gm
Cocoa Powder-5 tbsp
Bru coffee powder -2 tsp
Water-1 cup
Sugar-2 cup
Boil together the above ingredients except sugar on medium heat.Once it comes to boil,remove from fire & add the sugar & stir till dissolved.set this aside to cool.
2.all purpose flour-2 cup
Baking Soda-1 tsp
Salt -1/2 tsp( If u r using salted butter omit this)
Sieve together & add to the cocoa mixture .Beat in with a beater.
3.eggs-2
Yoghurt(thick)-1/2 cup
Vanilla essence-1 tsp
Add to the above & beat in.Pour in a 10 by 10 baking tray & bake in a preheated oven at 180 C for 25-30 minutes or until a skewer inserted at the centre comes out clean.
Chocolate Fudge Icing
1.Butter-1/4 cup
Cocoa powder-5 tbsp
Milk-6-7 tbsp
Sugar powder-3 cups
Vanilla essence-1 tsp
Bring to boil the butter,milk & cocoa powder over medium heat.remove from heat & whisk in sugar powder & vanilla essence until smooth.
When the cake is removed from the oven,immediately pour the hot fudge over the hot cake.Gently smoothen the top &
decorate with peanuts.after 30 minutes U can slice & serve.
