Tarts with Butterscotch Filling

Maida-1 1/2 cup Baking pwdr-1/4 tsp Salt- a pinch( if u r using salted butter avoid this) Sugar pwdr-1/4 cup Milk pwdr-1/2 tsp Mix together all the ingredients. Butter100 gm Add to the above with ur hands to resemble like puttu podi . Egg white-1 Vanilla essence-1/2 tsp Add to the above & mix. Cold water-as reqd(3-5 tsp) Add cold water to get a smooth dough.Cover with a cling wrap & refrigerate for 1/2 an hr.after 1/2 an hr , make lemon size balls & press it down or tart shells/ moulds.press with a fork on each shell & bake at 150 C for 20 minutes. Butterscotch Filling Butter-50 gm Sugar-1/4 cup When butter melts add sugar & caramalize this. Milk-1/2 cup Turn the heat down & add the milk & stir continuously. Corn flour-2 tbsp Milk-1/2 cup Mix together & add to the above.stir continuously till it thickens.turn off the gas & add 1/4 cup condensed milk & 1/4 tsp vanilla essence to this.meanwhile heat ghee/ butter & fry some cashews & kismis & add to the butter scotch filling. Fill the tarts with butterscotch filling & serve
