Spicy Chicken Curry
1.Chicken-1 kg
Cut the Chicken into medium pieces and wash and set aside.
2.Onion-2
Ginger-1” piece
Garlic -5-6(big Chinese ones)
Green chillies-3-4
Cumin seeds-1 tsp
Coconut oil -1 1/2 tbsps
Heat oil and splutter the cumin seeds.Now sauté the sliced onions till translucent.Add the crushed ginger, garlic and green chillies and cook till onions are browned.
3.Turmeric-3/4 tsp
Chilli powder-1 1/2 tsp
Coriander powder-1/2 tsp
Meat Masala-1 tsp
Garam Masala-1 tsp
Tomato-1 big
Tomato Paste-2-3 tbsps
Salt to taste
Pepper powder -3/4-1 tsp
Add in all the above masalas except pepper powder and sauté on low heat for few seconds.Add in the chopped tomato and tomato paste and 1/4 cup water and cook for few minutes till oil separates.
Now add the set aside chicken pieces and stir in for a minute or two.Now add salt to taste and cover with a lid and cook on medium heat till the chicken is cooked through.Add the pepper powder and adjust the seasonings.Cook till the gravy thickens a bit.Add in the chopped coriander leaves and stir in.Spicy Chicken Curry is ready.
