Spaghetti and Chicken Layer Pie
1.Spaghetti-200 gm
Corn (frozen)-3/4 cup
Salt as required
Olive oil-1 tbsp
In a vessel bring some water to boil.Add some salt.Now add the spaghetti and cook till done.Add the corn and let it simmer for a minute or two .Drain.Pour some normal water over the spaghetti so that it doesn’t cook further.Add olive oil and mix.Set this aside.
For the Chicken Mixture

Green chilies-6
Olive oil-1 1/2 tbsp
Heat oil and sauté the chopped garlic.Add the chopped onions and green chilies and sauté.
3.Chicken (cooked& shredded)-1 1/2 cup
Pepper powder-1 tsp
Thyme-1 tsp
Tomato sauce-1 tbsp
Tomato purée-2-3 tbsps
Peri peri/Chilli Garlic Sauce -2 tbsps
Salt to taste
Once onions are translucent add the shredded chicken and pepper & thyme and sauté.Add the tomato purée & the sauces.Adjust seasonings.Once this mixture thickens off the stove.
For the White Sauce

All purpose flour-3 tbsp
Milk-3 cups
Mozzarella cheese-1/2 cup
Fresh Parsley-1/2 cup
Pepper powder-2 tsp
Dry Thyme-1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Egg-1
In a pan heat butter.Add the flour and sauté in medium heat till nice aroma comes.Add milk little by little and stir in so that the mixture doesn’t become a lump.
Now add the remaining milk and let this come to boil.Add the pepper ,salt and thyme.Once this mixture thickens a little bit off the stove and add 1/4 cup each of cheese and parsley.Once cooled add an egg and stir in.
Add the remaining 1/4 cup parsley to the chicken mixture and the spaghetti mixture.
5.Eggs-3
Pepper powder-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Cheese-1/2 cup
In a bowl put all the above ingredients together and beat with a fork.Add this to the cooled Spaghetti mixture.
Meanwhile preheat the oven at 200 C.
Assembling the Pie
In a casserole place half of the spaghetti,egg& cheese mixture as the first layer .
Now spread the entire chicken mixture over this as the second layer.
Spread the remaining Spaghetti egg and cheese mixture over this as the third layer.
Pour the White Sauce over this and evenly spread it with a spoon.Sprinkle the remaining 1/4 cup cheese over this and bake it for 30-40 minutes until the top is lightly browned .Spaghetti and Chicken Pie is ready to Serve.
