Prawns Pulav
1.Prawns-1/2 kg
Clean & devein the prawns.
2.Onions-2
Ginger-1" piece
Garlic-5-6
Green Chilli-3
Saute the chopped onions in 2 tbsps oil. Add ground/crushed ginger,garlic and Chilli to this & saute.
3.Chilli powder-1 tsp
Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Vinegar-1 tsp
Add the masalas & saute.Now add the cleaned prawns and salt & vinegar and cover & cook for 3 minutes or until the prawns are cooked.Remove the lid.
4.Chilli garlic sauce-1 tbsp
Red Chilli sauce-1 tbsp
Worcestershire sauce -2 tsp
Add the sauces and cook till the water dries up.Set this aside.
5.Basmati rice-1 1/2 cup
Water-2 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
Oil-1 tbsp
Clean the rice and soak it in water for 15 minutes.Drain the rice.
Meanwhile in another nonstick pan heat oil and fry the drained rice for 2-3 minutes.Transfer the rice into a pressure cooker.Add the salt and water .Pressure cook this for a whistle.Open the cooker after half an hour.
Add the cooked rice into the set aside prawns mixture and fold in.Adjust salt.Garnish with chopped Corriander leaves.Serve with raita
