Prawn Roast š¦
1.For marinating
Prawns-25-30 (big)
Chilli powder-1 1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Pepper powder-1 tsp
Vinegar-1 tbsp
Salt-1/2 tsp
Marinate the deveined prawns with all the above ingredients for half an hour.
2.Coconut oil-2-3 tbsps
Shallow Fry this in coconut oil for 2 minutes each side and set aside.
3.Onion-1 large
Curry leaves-few
Shallots-3
Ginger-1ā piĆØce
Garlic -3-4 big
Green chillies-3-4
To the remaining oil , add the sliced onions & curry leaves and sautƩ.Crush the shallots,garlic,ginger and chillies and add to the above & sautƩ.
3.Chilli powder-1 tsp
Coriander powder-1 tsp
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
Garam Masala-1/2 tsp
Tomato-2 medium
Vinegar-1 tsp
Once the onion mixture starts to brown,add in all the above masalas and sautƩ on medium heat.Add in the chopped tomatoes and salt and cook for a minute.Add 1/2 cup water to the leftover marinade mixture and add to this. Now cover and cook until tomatoes are mushy and oil floats in sides.
Add in the set aside fried Prawns to this and coat well with the masala .Add in vinegar if necessary and Adjust seasonings.Cook until the mixture is dry and roasted.Prawns Roast is ready.
