Naadan Beef Curry

1.Beef-3/4 kg

Cut into bite size pieces and wash and then drain.Set this aside.

2.Curry leaves-2-3 sprigs

Ginger-1” piece

Garlic-4 big ones (1/2 pod)

Onions-2

Green chilies-4-6 (Adjust according to your spice level)

Coconut oil-1 1/2 tbsps

Heat oil and sauté the curry leaves, then the chopped ginger& garlic.Then the sliced onions and green chilies and sauté till onions starts to brown.

3.Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp

Chilli powder-1 1/2 tbsps

Coriander powder-1 tsp

Tomatoes-2-3(big/small)

Pepper powder-1/2 tsp

Garammasala-1 tsp

Salt to taste

Vinegar-1 tbsp

Water-3/4 cup

Add the turmeric,Chilli & coriander powders and sauté for a minute or two on low heat so that it doesn’t burn.Now add the chopped tomatoes and salt and cook for 2-3 minutes.Add the pepper powder and stir in.Now transfer this mixture to a pressure cooker along with the set aside beef .Add the vinegar and water and pressure cook this till done.Open the cooker and add the Garammasala and cook for few minutes till the gravy thickens little bit.

Naadan Beef Curry is ready to Serve with some Idiyappam/Noolappams or Puttu,Chappathis/Parathas or Pathiri.
