MIL’s Fish Curry


Easy Meen Curry (Mother in law’s fish curry)

1.Fish-1/4 kg

Ginger-1 “ piece

Garlic-3 big

Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp

Chilli Powder-2 tsp (adjust according to your spice level)

Salt to taste

Kudampuli-1 big(torn into 3)

In a vessel add all the above ingredients and a cup of water.Heat this.Once boiled through,reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes. Halfway through turn the fish pieces.Adjust salt Remove and set aside.

2.For tempering

Shallots-2-3

Curry leaves-a sprig

Coconut oil-2 tsp

Heat oil and fry the sliced shallots.Add the curry leaves and fry.Off the stove and pour this over the set aside fish curry .An easy Meen curry is ready to serve with Kappa
