1.kozhuva/sardines/squids-1/2 kg
Clean fish and marinate with 1/2 a lemon for 15-20 minutes.Wash this with water after 15-20 minutes & drain.
2.kodumpuli-3
Split & soak in 1/2 cup hot water
3.shallots-10
Garlic-10
Green chillies-6
Curry leaves-a sprig
Crush this together
4.Turmeric powder-1tsp
Crushed red chillies-1 tsp
Salt to taste
In an earthern pot mix together all the above except fish.Squeeze it with your hands to mix all the flavors in. Add the fish & mix again.
Heat the stove and place the chatti and close it with a lid.cook this on medium heat.
After 5 minutes open the lid & toss the pot sothat the fish is well turned.if u r not familiar with tossing use a spoon to turn it.Cover & cook till almost all water dries . Off the stove.
5.Coconut oil-1 1/2 tbsp
Add the oil and adjust salt.cover this with the lid.after 2 minutes stir & serve with rice.
