Meatball Curry
1.Minced beef-1/4 kg
Onion-2
Ginger-1"piece
Garlic-6
Green chillies-4
Bread-2-3pieces
Curry Leaves-1sprig
Salt to taste
Oil as required
Chop the ginger,garlic & chillies.chop 1/2 onion & slice the remaining.
Take 2 tsp chopped ginger-garlic-Chilli mixture & the chopped onion with the minced beef.crumb the bread pieces & add to this along with salt.Mix together & make small balls.
Note:Today I air fried the meat balls in my Tefal Actifry for 15 minutes .
In a nonstick pan,shallow fry the meat balls in two batches often turning them sothat it's evenly browned.set this aside.
In a kadai heat 1 1/2 tbsp oil & Saute the onions,ginger,garlic & chillies & curry leaves.
2.Chilli powder-1 tsp
Corriander powder-1 tbsp
Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
Add the turmeric,Chilli & corriander & Saute.add the masalas on medium heat sothat it doesn't burn.add 2 tbsp water & cook the masalas till oil seperates.
3.Potato-1 big
Carrot-1
Cauliflower/Broccoli-1/2 cup
Cut the carrot & potato into bite size pieces.add to the above along with 1 cup of water & salt.Cover & cook till done.
4.Coconut milk-2 cups
Garam masala-1 tsp
Vinegar-2 tsps
Corriander leaves-few
Add the set aside fried meatballs and cauliflower/broccoli florets to the above & cook.add the coconut milk & continuously stir till it starts to boil on the sides.
Add the vinegar & garam masala to this.adjust salt.when it's heated through add the chopped corriander leaves & turn off the stove.
Serve with Bread,Appams or Porotta
