Kerala Hotel Style Chicken Fry recipe
1.Chicken-1 kg
Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
Turmeric powder-1 tsp
Pepper powder-1 tsp (freshly ground)
Chilly flakes-1 1/2 tbsp
Chilli powder-1 1/2 tbsp
Garam Masala-1 tsp
Fennel seeds-2 tbsps
Salt to taste (2 tsp)
Vinegar-2 tbsps
Egg-1
Cornflour-2 tbsps
Rice flour-2 tbsps
Cut the chicken into small pieces and wash and set aside to drain the water.
Marinate the chicken pieces with all the above ingredients for at least one hour or refrigerate overnight.
2.Curry leaves-2 sprigs
Coconut oil as required for frying
Deep Fry/Shallow fry the marinated chicken in hot oil in 2-3 batches until browned.Drain on tissues.Kerala Hotel Style Chicken Fry is ready.
