Irachi Nirachathu
For the filling
1.any left over chicken-5-6 pieces
Remove the bones and tear it .
2.onion-1
Ginger garlic crushed-2 tsp
Salt to taste
Tomato-1 or (use 2 tbsps tomato sauce)
Saute the sliced onions in oil.once it's glossy add crushed ginger and garlic and saute.add chopped tomatoes to this & salt.
3.turmeric-1/4 tsp
Chilli powder-3/4 tsp
Corriander powder-3/4 tsp
Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
Garamasala-1/2 tsp
Once the tomato blends,add the masalas & saute in medium heat for a minute. Add 2 tbsps water to this & cook till the masalas r well cooked and oil seperates .
Now add the teared chicken & 1/4 cup water and cook till masalas coats well with the chicken and all the water dries up. Adjust seasonings.Add some chopped Corriander leaves & stir in.
For the covering
Bread slices-8(1 or 2 days old)
Water-1/2 cup
Remove the brown sides of the bread.Sprinkle little water over a bread slice and press between your hands to remove any excess water in it.
Now place 1 or 2 tbsps of the filling in the middle of the bread and roll it & seal all the edges with water .
Deep fry this in hot oil.Irachi Nirachathu is ready to serve
