Honey Chili Potatoes
FOR FRENCH FRIES:
1.Potatoes -2 large cut into wedges
Pepper -3/4 tsp
Cornflour/Cornstarch - 3 tbsp
Oil - 2 tbsp
Blanch the potato wedges in boiling salted water until just boiled through.Drain and set aside to cool.
Add in all the remaining ingredients and air fry or deep fry until browned. I air fryed it for 18 minutes.
FOR SAUCE:
2.Olive oil/Butter - 2 tbsp
Garlic - 2 tblsp (chopped )
Tomato Ketchup - 4 tbsp
Honey - 3 tblsp
Soy Sauce-2 tsp
Chilli Flakes - 1 tblsp
Salt -1/4 tsp
Pepper -1/2 -3/4 tsp
In a pan put all the above ingredients and boil for 2-3 minutes or until lightly thickened. Off the stove and add the fried potatoes and mix in to coat.Sprinkle some parsley or coriander leaves and serve the Honey Chilli Potatoes with fried rice.
