Crispy & Saucy Sesame Chicken
For the marination
1. Boneless Chicken-450 gm
Clean and cut the Chicken breast into thin strips
2.Chilli Powder-1 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder-1 tsp
Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
Worcestershire sauce-1 tbsp
Peri Peri Sauce-2 tsp
Marinate the chicken with all the above ingredients for at least one hour.
3.Egg-1
Corn flour-1/4 cup
All purpose flour-1/4 cup
After one hour break an egg into the chicken and stir in.Add both the flours as required just to coat the chicken.Deep fry the chicken pieces in hot oil till browned in 2-3 batches.Drain on tissues.
For the Sauce
4.Vegetable/Sesame Oil -1 tbsp
Garlic-3-4 big ones
Heat oil and sauté the chopped garlic.
5.Thai Chilli Sauce-2 tbsps
Tomato Ketchup-3 tbsps
Peri Peri Sauce-2 tbsps
Soya Sauce-2 tbsp
White Vinegar-1 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder-1 1/2 tsp
Pepper powder-1 tsp
Honey-1 tbsp
Sugar-2 tsp
Add the Chilli powder and pepper powder and sauté in low flame.Add all the above remaining ingredients and let it boil and reduce a bit (2-3 minutes).Add the set aside fried chicken into this and toss in to coat.
6.Onion-1 big
Capsicum-1 medium
Sesame seeds-1 tbsp
Cube the onions and Capsicum and add to the above and cover and cook for a minute.Remove the lid and sprinkle the sesame seeds and stir.Remove to a bowl and sprinkle more sesame seeds to decorate .
Crispy and Saucy Sesame Chicken is ready to Serve with some Fried Rice or Ghee Rice.
