Crispy & Saucy Sesame Prawns 🍤
For the marination
1. Prawns 🍤 -30
Clean and keep the tail intact of the prawns and devein the Prawns .
2.Chilli Powder-1 tsp
Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
Worcestershire sauce-2 tsp
Peri Peri Sauce-1 tsp
Marinate the prawns with all the above ingredients for at least one hour.
3.Egg-1/2
Corn flour-2 tbsps
All purpose flour-2 tbsps
After one hour beat an egg and add half of it into the prawns and stir in.Add both the flours as required just to coat the prawns Deep fry the prawns in hot oil till browned in 2-3 batches.Drain on tissues.
For the Sauce
4.Vegetable/Sesame Oil -1 tbsp
Garlic-3-4 big ones
Heat oil and sauté the chopped garlic.
5.Thai Chilli Sauce-1 tbsp
Tomato Ketchup-2 tbsps
Peri Peri Sauce-1 tbsp
Soya Sauce-1 tbsp
White Vinegar-1 tsp
Chilli powder-1/2 tsp
Pepper powder-1 tsp
Honey-1 tbsp
Sugar-1 tsp
Add the Chilli powder and pepper powder and sauté in low flame.Add all the above remaining ingredients and let it boil and reduce a bit (2-3 minutes).Add the set aside fried prawns into this and toss in to coat.
6.Onion-1 big
Capsicum-1 /2
Sesame seeds-1 tbsp
Cube the onions and Capsicum and add to the above and cover and cook for a minute.Remove the lid and sprinkle the sesame seeds and stir.Remove to a bowl and sprinkle more sesame seeds to decorate .
Crispy and Saucy Sesame Prawns is ready to Serve with some Fried Rice or Ghee Rice.
