Chicken Wontons
For the filling
1.Chicken mince-250 gm
Onion chopped-1/4 cup
Ginger-1 tsp
Garlic-2 big
Broccoli-1 floret
Or Carrot chopped -1/4 cup
Green chillies-2
2.Pepper Powder-1/2 tsp
Garlic powder-1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Soya sauce-1 tbsp
Sesame/Canola oil-1 tsp
In a bowl add all the above ingredients and stir in with a spoon till well combined .This is the filling.
Place a small spoon of this fillings on to the center of the wonton wraps and apply water to all the sides of the wrap.Fold into a triangle and seal the edges. Then seal the two diagonal edges to make the wontons.
Another way of folding is to make it like zingy parcels.
Or you can bring together the four corners together to make another wonton shapes.
Keep the parcels in the freezer for 15 minutes before deep frying in medium hot oil till browned.Drain on tissues.Chicken wontons is ready to serve with some Thai chilli sauce or a mixture of mayonnaise and ketchup.
Note:The oil shouldn’t be too hot ,as it won’t cook the meat inside.
