Chicken Tandoori
1.Chicken-1 kg
Remove the skin and cut the chicken into 4 big pieces and using a knife make cuts/slice marks on it.
2.Lemon juice-2 tsp
Pepper powder-1 tsp
Salt to taste
Wash the chicken pieces & pat dry with kitchen tissues /towels.
Marinate the chicken with salt,pepper and lemon juice for 10-15 minutes.
3.Ginger Garlic & Green Chilli paste-1 1/2 tbsp
Olive oil-1 tbsp
Hung curd/thick Yoghurt-3 tbsp
Chilli powder-1 tbsp (if you want a dark red color replace 1 tsp Chilli powder with Kashmiri chili powder instead)
Garammasala-1/2 tsp
Add all the above ingredients to the marinated chicken and refrigerate it overnight or for 4-6 hours.
Preheat the oven at 180 C and slightly oil the baking tray
Grill this chicken for 30-35 minutes or till done,turning the sides twice/ thrice in between till it’s browned evenly.
In the Airfryer,U can air fry this chicken for 25-30 minutes minutes until browned.
The Tandoori Chicken is ready.
Squeeze lemon juice on top and serve with onion rings and Raita
For Raita
4.Coriander leaves-1/4 cup
Garlic-1
Green chilies-1-2
Shallots-1
Salt to taste
Grind this together in a mixie .
5.Yoghurt-2-3 tbsps
Add a tbsp of yoghurt and grind again.Remove to a bowl.Add the remaining yoghurt and whisk with a fork to combine.Raita is ready
