Butter Chicken
1.Chicken-1 to1 1/4 kg
Cut the chicken into small pieces & wash & set aside.
2. Cream-1 tin(170 gm)
I used nestle plain cream
Tomato Paste-1 packet(135 gm)
U can substitute this with 4 tomatoes blanched & then pureed.
3.tandoori masala-2 tsp
Garamasala-1 tsp
Small jeera powder-1/2 tsp
Corriander Powder-1/2 tbsp
Chilli Powder-1 tsp( heaped)
Ginger garlic paste-1 tbsp
Sugar-1 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Mix together ingredients of 2 & 3.
4.Butter-50 gm
Oil-1 tbsp
5.Onions-2(chopped)
Heat butter & oil in a kadai.Saute the onions.when it's glossy,reduce heat & add the 2 & 3 mixture to it.Cook till raw smell of masalas vanish.Add the chicken pieces & Saute for some time sothat the juices get sealed in the chicken itself.Cover & cook on medium heat for 10 minutes / till done.garnish with the below ingredients chopped.
6.Onion-1/2
Corriander leaves-2 tbsp
Spring onion leaves-1 tbsp
Cream-1 tbsp
