Beef Stew 🍲
1.Beef -300 gm
Vinegar-1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Pressure cook all the above ingredients with 1/4 cup water for 1 whistle/ till done.
2.cardamom-2
Cloves-4
Cinnamon-1 stick
Pepper corns-4-5
Oil-1 tbsp
Ginger-1/2” piece
Garlic-3 big (Chinese)
Onion-1 big
Green chilli-5-6
Curry leaves-1 sprig
Pepper pwdr-1 tsp
Rice pwdr-1 tsp
Heat oil & add the whole masalas.when it starts to splutter,add the chopped ginger and garlic .Then add the onions sliced & green chillies chopped & the curry leaves.when onions are glossy add pepper pwdr & rice pwdr & sauté for a minute.
3.Carrot-1
Potato-1
Cauliflower/Green Peas-1/2 cup
Add the carrot and potato cut into medium pieces,salt and 1 cup water to this and cover and cook till the veggies are cooked.
Now add the cooked beef along with the stock & the frozen green peas/cauliflower to the above and cover and cook till done.
3.coconut milk pwdr-3 tbsp
Water-1 1/2 cup
Mix the coconut milk pwdr in water & add to the above.add 1/2 tsp vinegar to this & adjust salt & pepper .
Note-if u r using fresh coconut milk,add the second milk of coconut first & boil & reduce this.thenadd the vinegar,& adjust seasonings & add 1 cup first milk of coconut to this & stir continuously till well heated & do not allow to boil as it may curdle.
Garnish with chopped corriander & serve with Appam /Bread .
