Badam Milk

1.Badam-20-25

Hot water-1/2 cup

Soak the badam in hot water for 15-20minutes.Remove the skin of the almonds and grind it adding 1/4 cup of milk .( from the below mentioned 3/4 liters)to a smooth paste.

2. Milk- 3/4 litres

Cardamom-3-5

Sugar-1/4 cup(adjust according to your sweet levels)

Saffron-10-12 strands

Heat milk .Once it comes to boil,add the badam paste and the saffron strands. Keep stirring often so that it doesn’t get burned at the bottom.Turn the heat to low and allow it to simmer for 15-20 minutes.Add the sugar and crushed cardamom and allow it to simmer for another 2-3 minutes.Remove and let it cool a bit .

U can serve it hot or can refrigerate and serve it chilled.Garnish with sliced pistachios and almonds .
