Homemade Tahini Sauce
1.Roasted Sesame Seeds-1/2 cup
Olive oil/vegetable oil-2 tbsps
Salt-1/4 tsp
Dry Roast the sesame seeds on medium heat until it starts to crack,if it’s not Roasted.Allow this to cool a little bit.
Ground the sesame seeds in the small bowl of the mixie till powdered.Add the oil and salt and ground again till creamy.
2.Yoghurt-3-5 tbsps
Pepper powder-1/2 tsp
Water-2 tbsps
Now add pepper powder ,2 tbsps of yoghurt and water and grind this to a smooth paste.Taste the paste, if it’s sour to your taste add the remaining yoghurt and adjust seasonings and grind it to smooth paste.Homemade Tahini Sauce is ready.
Note:Tahini Sauce is generally sour but you can reduce it by adding more yoghurt and seasonings to your liking.
