Rava Ghee Roast Dosa
Rava Dosa-2 (yields-8 no.’s)
1.Semolina/Rava-1 cup
(not roasted)
Aval /Rice flakes -1/2 cup
Wheat flour-2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Soak the rava and aval seperately by adding enough water to it for 15 minutes.
2. Thick Curd-1/2 cup
Baking soda-1/4 tsp
In a blender add the soaked rava,aval ,wheat flour,curd and salt and blend .Add water only to adjust the dosa batter consistency.Remove to a bowl and add baking soda to it and stir in.Set this aside for 10-15 minutes.
Heat a dosa Tava,preferably cast iron Tava and pour 2 ladles of batter onto the hot Tava and spread it evenly in a circular motion.Apply ghee and cook on medium heat till lightly browned and crispy.Rava Ghee Roast is ready.Serve with Sambar and Chutney.
