Jackfruit flour Phulkas
Phulkas (with Jackfruit flour )
1.Atta/wheat flour-1 1/2 cup
raw jack fruit flour-1/2 cup.
Salt to taste.
Oil-1 tsp.
Hot water (as required to make a dough).
Mix all the above ingredients in a bowl and add enough hot water to make a smooth dough.Cover with a lid and let it rest for half an hour.
After 30 minutes,make balls and roll it into thin rounds as we usually do for the Chappathis.Heat a nonstick pan and place a Chappathi over it and cook for 30 seconds or till slight air bubbles appear .
Then turn it and cook the other side too for few seconds.Now transfer this to the direct flame 🔥. It will puff up.Remove this to a plate.
Your phulkas are ready.(I just flip them over and place it over the flame the other side too,for a few seconds and then take it off ). @ Dubai, United Arab Emirates
