Chai Peedika style Pazham Pori/Banana Fritters/Ethakka Appam

Pazham Pori Recipe

For the batter

1. Idli Batter-2-3 tbsps

Rice powder-1 tbsp

Sugar-2 tbsp

Salt -a pinch

Turmeric powder -a pinch

All purpose flour-1 cup

Water as reqd

In a bowl put all the above ingredients .Add water little at a time & form a medium thick batter(when u dip the banana the batter should coat it).

2.banana(Ethan )ripe-4

Slice one banana into 6 pieces if medium or 9 pieces if big.U can put 6-9 slices in the batter at a time.

Now heat coconut oil in a cheenachatti & deep fry the bananas coated with the batter till golden.Drain on tissues.Naadan Chai Peedika Style Crispy Pazham Pori is ready.
